I started working at Leominster Credit Union (LCU) as a part-time employee when I was only 17 years old. I have been working for Leominster Credit Union (LCU) since I graduated High School in 2018. During my time in high school, I had the opportunity to go through all courses of the Internship Educational Program – and taking the courses helped land me an interview for a full-time position at LCU. I have now been with the Credit Union for over 5 years and have grown immensely since I started. My roles have included Member Service Rep, Senior Teller and now, an Assistant Manager! I love being a Hispanic woman in the banking industry, and I love that LCU has allowed me all the opportunities that have been presented to me. At LCU, I feel cared for — there is such a family feel to it.

When I first started at Leominster Credit Union (LCU), I never thought it would become a career for me. Over the years, I have worked in different departments and held various positions. I started working at LCU in 2007 as a teller. I became a Sr. Teller, then later moved to the Accounting department as a Financial Representative, and currently into the Mortgage department as a Processor, Closer and now an Underwriter. I enjoy being a part of the LCU team because of the people I work with and the work I do. Working here I have learned a lot and I have gained a wealth of knowledge in the credit union/banking industry. I have seen myself grow and succeed, and it has been beneficial to me and my career.

I will soon have my 2nd Anniversary working for Leominster Credit Union (LCU). What impressed me the most when I started working here, was the great team of professionals. As a former retail manager, with more than 25 years of experience, I have assembled multiple teams for different retail locations, conducted many interviews, hired, trained and coached hundreds of employees. I know how hard it is to create a great team! LCU is doing just that! Multiple teams in different locations and departments working together through some challenging times; Covid and system upgrades, were able to maintain this level of dedication and professionalism throughout. I love being a part of this team! As an organization, we can help our members and local communities to achieve their financial goals.
